It’s that time of the year again! Summer is almost upon us, and we’re kicking off the season at the 2015 Kensington Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 25. This the second year that Carini Heating, Air and Plumbing has participated in the Kensington Parade, and this year, we’re planning to have almost 40 of our employees and their families marching down the parade route, handing out our popular American flag fans. The parade starts at 10:30 AM, and it’s a good idea to get there early to find a parking space. Come on down to Adams Ave. and Marlborough Drive (right next to the Starbucks at 4134 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA, and grab yourself a seat along the street. There’s a hot dog and hamburger stand for lunch and then a big book sale at the Kensington library after the parade.
And let’s remembering the real reason for Memorial Day, which is to honor the many men and women who died while serving in our country’s armed forces. We thank them for their service and sacrifice.
